75Ni8 1.5634 Alloy Steel Strips Delivery condition
Cold rolled narrow steel strip covered by EN10132-4 shall be supplied in one of the following delivery conditions:
NOTE The delivery condition-annealed to achieve spheroidized carbides(+AC)-may be agreed. In such cases, limits on spheroidization and mechanical properties may also be agreed at the time of enquiry and order.
75Ni8 1.5634 Alloy Steel Strips Decarburization
For silicon alloyed steels, decarburization shall not exceed 3% of the material thickness per side,for non silicon alloyed steels, decarburization shall not exceed 2% of the material thickness per side when measure data distance of 5mm from the stripe edge
75Ni8 1.5634 Alloy Steel Strips Surface finish
The surface finish of cold rolled narrow steel strip shall be bright as produced by rolling and annealing in a controlled atmosphere.
The surface finishes of quenched and tempered cold rolled strip are as follows:
1 grey/Alloy oxide finish:unpolished;
2 brigth tempered:unpolished
3 polished: obtained by fine grinding, abrasive brushing or other processes;
4 polished and coloured:Alloy or yellow colour obtained by oxidization by heat treatment.
high carbon steel Alloy tempered spring steel strip is harder, less bendable, and has a higher degree of spring back. Finished products made from this material have better edge retention, which correlates to the material's other properties. Alloy spring steel strip is used widely in the manufacture of springs, prominently in automotive and industrial suspension applications. It is a high carbon steel with a very high yield strength. This material allows objects made of spring steel to return to their original shape despite significant deflection or twisting.

Carbon steel 75Ni8 1.5634 with 2% nickel
Used especially for the manufacture of band saw blades, 15N20 / 75Ni8 / 1.5634 steel is a carbon steel with properties similar to 1075 steel, but containing a significant proportion of nickel.
Highly valued in the manufacture of Damascus Steel:
It is either used alone to make a blade, or alloyed with another steel 1075, 1095, O2 etc, for the making of a Damascus of a good contrast after etching. Nickel provides a high contrasting power (shiny parts), that is why 15N20 / 75Ni8 / 1.5634 steel is perfect for Damascus forging.
75Ni8 1.5634 carbon steel for the manufacture of knives and swords
It is easy to sharpen and its toughness remains one of its main advantages. Nickel steel 15N20 / 75Ni8 / 1.5634 can be used for the manufacture of knives, but also for the manufacture of swords.
