We hold expertise in providing a qualitative range of Blue Tempered Steel Strips to our clients at affordable prices. Owing to features like high efficiency, optimum performance and durable finish standards they are highly demanded in the market. Our ranges of these are used in various industries like automobile, cable and electronic industries.
In annealed and lightly rolled materials, they exhibit a large degree of elongation, and can withstand complex processing. Springs are used in plenty of applications in the present-day world. Even so, only a few people have a nodding acquaintance with the brass tracks of spring manufacturing and the different qualities needed for various functions. While coiling steel into a spiral of desired length and diameter is the primary and center-most stage of spring fabrication, other treatments during and after the procedure determine the quality of the product that reaches the consumer.
51CrV4 1.8159 Annealed Steel Strips Decarburization
For silicon alloyed steels, decarburization shall not exceed 3% of the material thickness per side, for non silicon alloyed steels, decarburization shall not exceed 2% of the material thickness per side when measure data distance of 5mm from the stripe edge
high carbon steel Annealed tempered spring steel strip is harder, less bendable, and has a higher degree of spring back. Finished products made from this material have better edge retention, which correlates to the material's other properties. Annealed spring steel strip is used widely in the manufacture of springs, prominently in automotive and industrial suspension applications. It is a high carbon steel with a very high yield strength. This material allows objects made of spring steel to return to their original shape despite significant deflection or twisting.
EN 1.8159 steel is an alloy steel formulated for primary forming into wrought products. 1.8159 is the EN numeric designation for this material. 51CrV4 is the EN chemical designation. It has a moderately low melting temperature and a fairly high embodied energy among EN wrought alloy steels.
The steel, unlike other carbon and alloy grades, is characterized by high hardness, low vulnerability to tempering, resistance for variable and heavy loads, and the ability to operate at elevated temperatures up to 300 ℃. Surface-hardened, retains excellent strength properties of the core while maintaining sufficient surface hardness.58CrV4 / 1.8161 and 59CrV4 / 1.2242 are related grades with the same range of alloying additives. It is distinguished by the higher carbon content, which makes it possible to achieve even higher hardness after heat treatment.51CrV4 / 50CrV4 / 58CrV4 / 59CrV4 grades are supplied as hot-rolled bars, drawn bars, wires, spring stripes, forgings are used for the production of heavy-duty springs, axles, crankshafts, connecting rods, compression springs, valve springs, springs, shock absorbers or spring washers. It is mainly supplied in an annealed, softened, heat-treated and raw conditions. Steel does not exhibit corrosion resistance, so products should be protected with greases or coatings.
