AWS A5.14 Specification for the classification of bare nickel and nickel-alloy bare welding strip electrodes and welding rods. Filler metal Grade ErNiCrMo-3 is designed to match the composition and properties of 625 and used for the high-temperature strength and structural stability, is also used for its resistance to general corrosion, pitting, crevice and stress corrosion cracking in severe chloride media. ERNiCrMo-3 welding electrodes and rods are used for welding of 9% Ni steels, alloy 625, alloy 825, alloy 25-6MO, and a range of high alloy Austenitic and super Austenitic stainless steels alloy 904L. It is also used for surfacing of steel and various corrosion-resistant alloys such as alloy 20.
